Nutrition Tip of the Week
Lutein and zeaxanthin help keep the lens, retina, and the pigment of the macula (the central area of the eye) healthy. Foods with lutein and zeaxanthin include dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, peas, kiwi, oranges, corn, and mangoes. Red grapes, yellow squash, and honeydew melon also contain lutein and zeaxanthin.
